So I know that we've been home for a month already, and everyone else has blogged about this, but I couldn't write about it without pictures. Our camera was on the frizz most of the week, so here are some pictures courtesy of my mom.
Dramatis Personae

Eve, the eldest cousin who will be an ancient six years this month

Eleanor, Eve's sister, entranced by the jellyfish

Dylan, the ninja T-rex!

His sister Caitlin, one of the best behaved 18 month olds I've ever met

Elliot, decked out for an adventure
Some of the highlights

Katie and I bonding over a handful of cherrios.

Liam and I enjoying the sunset. It was cold!

"I'm not so sure about those whole sand thing" face

Mmmmm, sand! I was finding sand in Liam's diaper for a week afterwards

We bought this toy as a reward for Liam being good on the trip. He barely let Justin put it together before snatching it out of his hands.

There was a jetted tub in my parent's bathroom at the beach house. We let Liam play in there. He had a grand ole time.

We went to the aquarium in Newport. Among the other sights was a kamikaze harbour seal named "Spot" who would throw himself against the window with gay abandon to try to get to the kids.

So big!

Liam loved the touch pools. He, however, thought petting the rocks was more interesting than the actual creatures.

This is one the funniest things I've ever seen. If you can't read it, it says
"In loving memory Manja Geier nee Moravec died in this place September 13, 1997 surrounded by family and friends at her granddaughter's wedding." How'd you like to be that granddaughter? "Hey remember the time Grandma snuffed it at your wedding?" I think that reaches new lows of wedding guest rudeness.

This is my favourite picture. There was one of those underwater walkways. I don't think that Liam blinked the entire time. Look at Liam's circular mouth in the reflection.
More pictures and snide comments to come.
