I used to wear Freed pointe shoes, particularly the maker that marked with a crown. They were perfect and I was DEVASTATED when the shank broke on my first pair. I found this mini documentary of the Freed factory and the narrator's uncle was the crown maker. It's cool to watch and makes me very nostalgic. As soon as I lose these last 20 lbs, I hope I'm back on pointe.
